From the heart of the Atlas Mountains :
- Journey of Omar Joud
The story of JoudBee begins with Omar Joud, born in 1970 in Morocco. Before becoming a beekeeper and entrepreneur, Omar Joud worked as a teacher, a profession that shaped his values of patience, knowledge-sharing, and community development.
Driven by a deep respect for nature and a passion for beekeeping, he gradually turned his attention toward the world of bees. What started as a personal interest soon became a life mission: to develop and professionalize beekeeping in Morocco, especially in rural and mountainous regions.
- The Creation of Union Atlas Al Kabir
In pursuit of this mission, Omar Joud founded the Union Atlas Al Kabir, a cooperative union dedicated to supporting small beekeeping cooperatives across Morocco.
His vision was not only to produce honey, but to build a strong, organized, and professional beekeeping ecosystem. Through this union, he began working closely with small local cooperatives, helping them improve their practices, increase their production quality, and access better opportunities.
Every year, Omar Joud personally contributes by distributing beehives to member cooperatives, enabling them to grow their production capacity and strengthen their independence.
Beyond equipment support, he also provides continuous guidance, training, and field supervision, teaching beekeepers how to become professional and sustainable producers. His ongoing presence in the field ensures that quality standards are respected and that traditional knowledge is combined with modern beekeeping practices.

- The Birth of Kenz Azzohour
In 2019, building on years of experience and field work, Omar Joud founded the cooperative Kenz Azzohour in Ouarzazate, Morocco.
Starting with only 15 beehives, the cooperative was born from determination, resilience, and a deep connection to the Moroccan land. Step by step, through hard work and collective effort, Kenz Azzohour grew into a recognized producer of high-quality Moroccan honey.
The cooperative’s mission has always been clear: to highlight the richness of Moroccan terroir and preserve the authenticity of natural honey produced in traditional environments.
Today, Kenz Azzohour is known for carefully selected honeys such as Daghmous and Thyme honey, each reflecting the unique biodiversity of Morocco’s landscapes.
- The Birth of JoudBee
In 2024, a new chapter began with the creation of JoudBee, a premium honey brand developed to bring Moroccan honey to a wider and more demanding audience.
JoudBee represents the evolution of Omar Joud’s journey — from teacher, to beekeeper, to union founder, to brand builder. It reflects a vision that combines tradition, expertise, and premium quality positioning.
The goal of JoudBee is simple yet ambitious:
To elevate Moroccan honey to a premium standard while preserving its natural authenticity and origin.
Our philosophy is:
